For me, Express-English is a good opportunity to improve my English. I’m a full time mom and I never know what my next day will look like, or even the next hour, so it’s great that I can have lessons while my baby is sleeping. I really enjoy my lessons, as Jason can make them interesting and full of fun, in spite of dozens of things that are typically boring, like grammar or pronunciation. The teachers are very patient, open-minded, and flexible, and they explain everything, even things that are very complicated, in a simple and understandable way. I began online English lessons with Express English almost two years ago. Considering the fact that I had to improve my English due to my work at an international consulting firm, I pursued the following objectives: I wanted to have someone native who would tell me about mistakes in my speech and business emails; I had few timeslots in my compressed schedule and lessons over Skype allowed me to find a time slot which I would never can use with a “local teacher” (it’s at 11:30 PM my local time); I felt that native speakers faced difficulties to understand my pronunciation from time to time and it was important for me to correct these “typical mistakes” and improve my accent.
